BALTIMORE (AP) - A Crisfield crab pot business is going to be recognized at the White House.

Representatives from Heath's Crab Pots will attend the Monday event that showcases American-made products and manufacturing.

The White House says Vice President Mike Pence, members of the cabinet and lawmakers will join President Donald Trump for the event.

Heath's Crab Pots opened more than 40 years ago. It is the largest manufacturer of pots in the Chesapeake region.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is set to head to Rhode Island for meetings with other governors on healthcare, cyber security and other issues.

McAuliffe is attending the National Governors Association summer meeting in Providence, which runs from Thursday to Saturday.

As chairman of the NGA, McAuliffe will introduce Vice President Mike Pence and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau before they speak to the group.

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Gov. Larry Hogan says he hasn't spoken to President-elect Donald Trump, and he doesn't plan to before the inauguration later this month.
 
The Republican governor who didn't support the president elect was asked during a news conference on Tuesday about how he believes his relationship with the new administration will be. Hogan says he thinks it's "going to be great."
 
Hogan says he has spoken to Vice President-elect Mike Pence. He says he's had a "longstanding relationship" with Pence, a fellow Republican governor.

ROANOKE, Va. (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is planning to make a campaign stop in Virginia.

Trump's campaign and his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, are expected to hold a town hall event on Monday at the Hotel Roanoke & Convention Center.

The event will begin at 3 p.m.

Trump's visit to the crucial swing state comes on the heels of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's announcement Friday that she chose Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine as her running mate.

With the Republican National Convention underway, it is a party that has become divided. Presumptive party nominee Donald Trump chose Governor Mike Pence as his running mate. The Indiana Republican is seen as a favor among social conservatives within the GOP. Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush spoke with Kevin Wade, a Delaware delegate attending the convention. Wade ran for U.S. Senate two years ago in the First State.
