Hunter Biden

WASHINGTON (AP) - Two people familiar with the discharge of Vice President Joe Biden's youngest son from the Navy say he tested positive for cocaine.

In a statement released by his attorney, Hunter Biden doesn't refer to the reason he received an administrative discharge from the Navy earlier this year.

He says he respects the Navy's decision and is moving forward with his family's support.

There have been concerns about Attorney General Beau Biden’s health as he gears up for a run for the governor’s chair in Delaware.

But his brother Hunter Biden told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell yesterday that Biden was “doing great”.

The Attorney General went to a cancer facility in Texas recently for a lesion on his brain.

Hunter Biden called it a scare but added his brother is back to work.
