Delmarva Public Radio turns 25 this year...thanks to your continued support.  Stay tuned for some special events and surprises this year, as we look forward to being here another 25 years.

Move your clocks ahead 1 hour in spring and back 1 hour in fall ("Spring forward, fall back").

Delmarva Public Radio is proud to be part of the 2012 Chesapeake Chamber Music Competition.  Five finalist chamber groups from around the world will compete at the Avalon Theater in Easton on Saturda,  March 31st.  The competition begins at 1PM.

WSCL, 89.5FM will air portions of this event, including the winning ensemble, in early April.

April showers bring May flowers and...seasonal concert changes to WSCL 89.5 FM! 

Here is the evening concert lineup as of April, 2012.  Our Spring concerts come from the WFMT Radio Network

Mondays at 8PM- The Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Tuesdays at 8PM- The Los Angeles Philharmonic

Wednesdays at 8PM- The San Francisco Symphony

Coming in April, a new addition to WSCL 89.5's  FM Sunday Family programming...The Score with Edmund Stone.  You can hear "The Score" every Sunday afternoon at 4PM, followed by From the Top at 5.

Join us Wednesday evening, March 14th at 8PM on Classical 89.5FM for a 2- hour special celebrating the life and art of Dame Joan Sutherland.

This program will feature archival recordings, as well as interviews with Dame Joan and her husband, Richard Bonynge.

Are you concerned about teachers, education, maintenance of effort, and the proposed plan to shift the cost of teacher pensions to the counties?

Tune in Friday at noon-2PM on WSDL 90.7 to hear a special broadcast of a 2-hour town hall meeting and panel discussion of these issues with legislators and policy makers, taped live in front of a 100+ member audience on Monday, February 27, in Annapolis. The town hall meeting was organized in conjunction with the Maryland State Education Association.
