RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control stores will again offer discounts on Black Friday this year.
The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control says that on Nov. 27, all of its stores will offer 10 percent off any in-store purchases totaling $50 or more before taxes, and 15 percent off for purchases of at least $75. Lottery and gift cards are excluded from consideration.
On Nov. 30, the same discounts will apply for customers who order products online for pickup at an ABC store. About 220 products will be available online.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia is on pace to break its annual gun sales record following record transactions on Black Friday.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch says Virginia State Police statistics show 3,902 gun transactions in the state on Black Friday. That broke the previous record of 3,856 transactions on the same day in 2012.

As of Monday, gun transactions totaled 431,693. The record is 432,387 set in 2012.
