Delmarva Public Radio regrets to inform our listeners that our regular Saturday Afternoon program, “World Of Opera” will be coming to a close. World of Opera, a production of WDAV Classical Public Radio and South Carolina Public Radio, is unable to continue to produce this program due to circumstances beyond their control. The European Broadcasting Union is no longer able to provide the opera recordings used in the majority of World of Opera productions.
Broadcasts of the Metropolitan Opera 2016-2017 season will be returning to our airwaves December 3rd, with a 1PM broadcast of Puccini’s “Manon Lecaut”. For more information about the 2016-2017 Metropolitian Opera Season, visitmetopera.org.
