Writer Sonia Sanchez: Pioneer of the Black Arts Movement

Sonia Sanchez is an author, playwright and poet, who has been in the forefront of the Black Arts Movement. She has been won a number of prestigious awards including the Robert Frost Medal and Langston Hughes Poetry Award.  Her books include Homecoming, Homegirls and Handgrenades and Morning Haiku. Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush spoke with her during an appearance on the campus of Salisbury University.
