Wilmington Clinic Will No Longer Perform Surgical Abortions

creative commons

A Wilmington clinic that does surgical abortions has decided to end the practice after the state asked for national accreditation.

Premier clinic has ties to a Pennsylvania medical company which has been closed because it would not reveal its connection to an abortion doctor who can no longer legally do the procedure in the state.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Kimberly Glunt who sent the letter notifying the state of the clinics decision suggested there was a pro-life mole who was releasing private information.

Last week the threat to close the clinic was revealed by the anti-abortion group Delaware Family Policy Council in an email to its supporters.

Meanwhile, the owner of the office space told the News Journal that he wants the clinic to move or close because it is disrupting other businesses in the building.
