Beneficiaries of the Delaware Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program in Sussex County will now be able to get some assistance at the La Red Health Center in Georgetown.

Dr. Karyl Rattay, Director of the Department of Public Health, said that the aim is to integrate services within the communities that need them the most.

Brian Olson, Chief Executive Officer of La Red Health Center, told WBOC that the facility currently offers patients translation and transportation services.

The television station adds that the new site is also within walking distance to WIC vendors such as Redner’s and Walmart.
