Jack Morris a probationary volunteer with the Westside Volunteer firefighters has died of his injuries Sunday afternoon in a car accident.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that he was thrown from a red pickup truck in a single vehicle accident and sent to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
The accident occurred on Athol Road near Hebron.
