Weapons and Drugs Found After H2Oi Arrest in Ocean City

Maryland State Police say they found weapons and drugs the car hit two law enforcement officers during the H2Oi event in Ocean City.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports they were discovered in the Chevrolet Malibu driven by 18-year-old Antonio Ambrosino.

The paper reports that among the items were a BB pistol and a knife as well as suspected marijuana and a bag of mushrooms believed to be a controlled dangerous substance.

Police say that Ambrosino attempted to speed away from officers to avoid arrest.

He hit a Worcester Sheriff’s Deputy and an Ocean City Police officer.

The police officer along with another fired at Ambrosino.

He along with his passenger wound up at a dead end where authorities caught up with them.

Ambrosino has been charged with first and second degree attempted murder.  

Both suspected face drug possession charges.
