Wallops Rocket Launch Delayed Unitl Monday (Update)

Thousands are expected to show up on Monday morning for the launch of an Orbital ATK rocket at the Wallops Flight Facility.

It will be carrying around 74-hundred pounds of supplies and science experiments to the International Space Station.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that it is expected to lift off during the 4 o-clock hour with a 30 percent chance of rain that day.

The rocket will be carrying the Cygnus spacecraft with the supplies including tiny satellites known as “CubeSats.”

After docking with the space station it will depart on July 15th deploying those satellites.

Then it will come back Earth with several tons of trash.
