Vigil on Kent Island for Four Teens Lost in Accident

Hundreds of community members in Queen Anne’s County turned out for a vigil at the Kent Island High School last night to mourn the loss of four teenagers who died in an accident on Wednesday on Cox Neck Road.

One was Tyler Elzey who as a volunteer firefight in the same company that responded to the call.

Others included Cory Passagno, Michael John Ringenbach and Harrison Rhoades.

Katie Debries told WBOC that she self like she just saw them yesterday before the accident making it all feel unreal.

Thursday’s vigil was a small attempt for the community to come to grips with the loss
