U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue dropped by the Delaware State Fair yesterday.
The former Georgia Governor toured the fairgrounds and stopped at the 4-H and FFA exhibits
WBOC reports that Perdue took time to criticize government regulations saying they made farming more difficult.
The Delaware Farm Bureau also brought up the issue of over regulation with its president Kitty Holtz saying that the regulations need to be “cleaned up”.
Sonny Perdue is no relation to the Perdue Farm family.
