Upgrade to Marina to Help Salisbury Downtown Redevelopment

ci.salisbury.md.us

In a short time the Port of Salisbury Marina will be getting a new look.

Right now it’s a bit Spartan.

But a six figure investment is expected to provide for upgrades that range from a new boat house to a floating dock that can be used for canoe and kayaks.

There will also be a facelift for the entrance and marina building in addition to decorative fencing.

The project will also include relocating a sewage lift station to the site.

Salisbury City Council President Jake Day told the Salisbury Daily Times that the upgrades to the aging marina should help the redevelopment of the downtown area.
