NEWARK, Del. (AP) - The University of Delaware says tuition and fees in the upcoming academic year will increase by about 2 percent for in-state undergraduates and about 2.5 percent for out-of-state undergraduates.
The university announced the increases Monday. The school says the increase is the lowest percentage increase in more than 30 years.
For the 2014 to 2015 academic year, tuition and fees for in-state undergraduates will be $12,342. That's up $230.
For out-of-state-students, tuition and fees will be $30,692, up $760 from last year. Those amounts don't include food or housing.
Graduate students will pay 3 percent more in tuition. Tuition will be $1,625 per credit hour, an increase of $47 per credit hour. But the school says full-time graduate students will see a 7 percent reduction in mandatory fees.
