Two Suspended in Caesar Rodney Racial Slur Incident

social media

Two students involved in the posting a picture of the Caesar Rodney High School mascot holding a piece of paper with a racial slur online have been suspended.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that they could face expulsion for the incident.

However, the Delaware State Police say no charges will be filed against the two.

Meanwhile, school superintendent Kevin Fitzgerald condemned the incident adding that there was zero tolerance for this kind of behavior.

The high school principal also addressed the students telling them that they defined the school not a photo on social media.
