DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police in Dover are investigating after a man was fatally shot on South Kirkwood Street.
Police say it happened around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday. Police say they're looking for a red Jeep with Pennsylvania tags in connection with the crime. Police say the suspect vehicle was fleeing the scene. They're asking anyone who sees the vehicle to call them.
Police did not release any additional information about the crime.
This is the city's second fatal shooting on Sunday and the third homicide this year. In the first incident, which happened around 1:30 a.m., a 24-year old man was killed and a 25-year old woman was injured when shots were fired after a party on Simon Circle.
