Two More Flu Deaths in Delaware

DOVER, Del. (AP) - State health officials say two more flu-related deaths have been reported in Delaware.

Delaware's Division of Public Health says the fatalities bring the total number of flu-related deaths for the 2015-2016 season to three.

Officials said the two new flu deaths were a 58-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man, who both lived in New Castle County. They said both people had underlying health conditions.

The Division of Public Health says this season flu been less deadly than the last, when there were 28-flu related deaths and 2,390 confirmed flu cases. So far, there have been 1,138 lab-confirmed flu cases this season in Delaware.
