WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say two lanes have reopened on southbound Interstate 95 after a crash involving a tractor trailer closed the highway for several hours.

Police say the tractor trailer overturned on I-95 at Delaware Route 141 just after 4 a.m. on Friday.

State troopers closed southbound I-95 until just before 9 a.m. Traffic was being diverted onto Route 141. Police say the closure caused long delays and urged motorists to avoid the area.

Police say the two left lanes of the highway reopened just before 9 a.m. But motorists should still expect delays while congestion continues to clear.
