Two DUI Arrests in Caroline County Checkpoint

Two people suspected of driving while impaired were arrested during operation Checkpoint Strikeforce on Saturday night and Sunday morning in Caroline County.

At least 83 vehicles were checked as officers from Maryland State Troopers, Caroline County Sheriff’s deputies and other agencies stopped the vehicles.

One of those arrested was also charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a State Trooper.

No one was injured at the checkpoint.

Maryland State Highway Administration and law enforcement agencies will continue with the sobriety checkpoints in Caroline Country through December 6th.
