At least two people are dead from a drug overdose during a three day period this weekend that saw another 20 people given the drug naloxone for an overdose.

The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services said of those 20, 15 were in western Sussex County.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the two men who died lived in Seaford were believed to be in their 40’s and 50’s.

Their names have been withheld pending the notification of their relatives.

Authorities are trying to determine the cause of the increase in the overdoses.
