Congressman Elijah Cummings says he told President Trump that his language has been “hurtful” and “insulting” the African American community.

The Baltimore Sun reports that he also urged the president to take a look at voter suppression as well as election fraud.

The paper reports that the conversation occurred during an Oval Office meeting in which the Maryland Democrat provided the President and Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price with a plan to allow the federal government to negotiation drug prices under the Medicare program.
