Troubled Sand-And-Gravel Company Gets Permit in MD

creative commons

Michael Davidson has made a successful environmental appeal in Caroline County that could pave the way for a sand-and-gravel pit on land formerly used for recycling.

This comes after his construction and demolition recycling business has been shutout of Delaware where he has been repeatedly sanctioned and was labeled a chronic violator of environmental laws by a state board in late September.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that regulators charged that he has been reckless and negligent in his operations of a recycling company at a site off of Delaware Route 10 near the Kent County-Caroline County, Maryland-Delaware state line.
