For those of you wondering why your reception of WSCL & WSDL...or any other radio station, for that matter...has been so wacky lately, the graphic below illustrates what's known as "tropospheric ducting"...a natural atmospheric phenomenon which (unfortunately) plays havoc with radio signals. See that big yellow patch sneaking into Delmarva from the east? That's a sizable amount of ducting and it's affecting everyone...including DPR. As I've been known to say, "Radio rocks, but Nature rules." We apologize for Nature's misbehavior and appreciate your patience and understanding. Stay tuned. Nature will eventually get bored and go do something else.
