Tropical Storm Maria Batters Ocean City Inlet

all-free-download

Heavy winds hit the Ocean City Inlet yesterday morning as Tropical Storm Maria moved past the Delmarva Peninsula.

WBOC reports that the U.S. Geological Survey said that two-thirds of the beaches in Maryland and Virginia could expect serious erosion.

Town officials urged beach goers to stay out of the water especially this weekend when the weather warms up.

There won’t be any lifeguards on duty until next year.
