Tropical Storm Arthur to Hit Delmarva

nasa.org

You might want to make some alternative plans for July 4th.

Tropical storm Arthur will be bringing 1 to 2 inches of rain to Delmarva by Thursday just in time for Independence Day.

The effect of the storm will be more limited because its center is expected to stay offshore.

And when the fireworks are set to go off meteorologist Scott Minnick told the Salisbury Daily Times that Friday night should be drier.

In Ocean City town spokeswoman Jessica Water told the paper that the storm should have very little impact on the coastal resort.

Tropical Storm Arthur is expected to reach hurricane status by Thursday off the Carolina coastline.
