Tonya Bundick got a ten and a half year sentence for two arsons carried out in Accomack County last year.

She declined to say anything before she was sentenced for the fires.

She was sentenced to 3 and a-half years for a fire in Accomack County that occurred in March of 2013 after being convicted by a jury.

She was sentenced to seven years in prison for an Alford plea in the fire that took place on April 1st of last year in Melfa.

Circuit Judge Glen Tyler also denied two defense motions.

One asked that she be allowed to withdraw her two guilty pleas for the April fire.

The second asked that the cases be continued and that the court not sentence her at this time.

Police say Bundick and her then fiancé Charles Smith were responsible for most of the fires that struck Accomack County in late 2012 and early 2013.

Bundick was indicted last December on 62 counts to which she has pleaded not guilty.

She had asked that she be tried separately on each count.
