William Bandorick III was airlifted by helicopter to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after a crash on Route 611 involving three drivers.

The 47 year-old was driving south in his Jaguar on Saturday afternoon when he crossed into the northbound lane.

Police say he struck a Kia Spectra heading north then hit a Dodge pickup truck.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that Bandorick is said to be in serious condition.

Meanwhile, Richard Dize of Berlin who was driving the Kia was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Richard Kraskin of New Jersey was not injured.

Route 611 runs into Assateague Island National Seashore.
