oceancity.com

It was quiet for the most part but not without fatalities as officials wrapped up this year’s Delmarva Bike Week and OC BikeFest.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports there were three major accidents late last week.

Maryland State Police said that a 78-year-old man was killed on a motorcycle when it collided with a pickup truck on Route 413 in Somerset County.

There was another motorcycle accident on Route 50 east Walston Switch when two motorcyclists hit each other.

One rider died and their other was treated for serious injuries.

In Newark two motorcyclists were thrown off their bikes when they hit a Ford Expedition on Route 113 in Selbyville.

They were taken to Christiana Hospital with serious injuries.
