Three Finalists for Wicomico County Schools Superintendent

There are three finalists for Superintendent of the Wicomico County Public Schools.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that educators who are familiar with the finalists say they are Donna Hanlin, Lorenzo Hughes and Cathy Townsend.

Each of them will spend a day in Wicomico County next week along with meeting local officials.

Townsend is currently assistant superintendent for administrative services and a former principal at Salisbury Middle School and Delmar Middle and High school.

Hughes is an assistant superintendent for public instruction in Dorchester County.

He was principal at Wicomico High School.  

Hanlin is a former principal of James M. Bennett High School and Wicomico Middle School.

She is currently with Department of Education at Shepherdstown University in West.
