Teyon Jones Death Ruled Homicide in 2011 Shooting

Maryland Law Enforcement

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Anne Arundel County Police say the death of a man four years after he was shot has been ruled a homicide.

Officers said in news release that in August 2011, 22-year-old Teyon Decarlos Jones was shot at a party in Glen Burnie.

Investigators say Jones died Saturday, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death was complications from the gunshot wound he sustained in 2011. The manner of death was ruled a homicide.

The department is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Jones' death.
