Accomack County Sheriffs have arrested a 14-year-old for making threats to shoot up the Tangier Combined School.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the Sheriff’s office got a call around 5:38 on the afternoon of March 13th that someone had threatened the school.

Tangier Combined School has students from kindergarten through 12th grade and are all housed in the same building.

The paper reports that the teen has been charged with one count of making threats to commit serious bodily harm to those on the school ground by threatening them with a bomb or burning a building.

The teen’s name has been withheld because he is a juvenile.
