Taxi Cab Fares Could Go Up In Ocean City

Nite Club Taxi Website

The Ocean City police commission is set today to take up taxi fares in the beach resort.

Meeting with the medallion owners the commission is expected to hear from cabbies who would like to increase the fare rate from $2.20 a mile…to $3.71 a mile.

They say the hike is needed to cover the driver’s costs.

Currently,  the drivers split their profits 50-50 with the cab company while paying for their own gas.
