If you’re expecting table games to show up at the Ocean Downs Casino after voters approved them in the November election think again.
It’s not a done deal.
General Manager Joe Cavilla issued a statement saying that the casino is evaluating customer demand.
In the words of the statement, “No decision has been made.”
A Maryland Lottery official told attendee at a Baltimore meeting last week that Ocean Downs was not structurally designed for table games.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the casino is also weighing 24-hour gaming during select time periods.
Ocean Downs currently is open for 18-to-20 hours a day.
