Sussex County Gets Extra Judge

Delaware Courts

Sussex County is getting a fourth superior court judge.

Judge Jane Brady has been indefinitely reassigned to the county dropping the number of Superior Court judges in Wilmington to 14.

Wilmington News Journal reports that few people in the legal community could remember when a judge has been moved from one county to another on a long-term basis.

Superior Court Judge James Vaughn Junior told the paper that it was just a matter of resources.

Kent County has three judges.
