WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A young, pregnant prosecutor described as a rising star at the Delaware Attorney General's Office has died unexpectedly.

A spokesman for the Attorney General's Office said Tuesday that 33-year-old Deputy Attorney General Sarita Wright died Sunday.

The Cecil County Sheriff's Office says paramedics responded to Wright's Elkton, Maryland home after getting a call about someone having a heart attack. Paramedics weren't able to revive Wright.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Wright married in 2012 to Tony Lucas, an assistant football coach at the University of Delaware, and was about six months pregnant with her first child. The baby didn't survive.

An autopsy is being conducted.

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden says in a statement that Wright was "incredibly committed and accomplished" and her colleagues deeply mourn her loss.
