Delaware State Senator will be taking a shot at the Lt. Governor’s office in Delaware.
The 51 year-old Middletown Democrat told the Wilmington News Journal that she has already filed papers with the election commissioner’s office.
That will allow her to begin raising money for next year’s election.
In addition, the paper reports that she has created a website and social media operation with endorsements from fellow Democrats.
The paper reports these include Senate President Pro-Tem Patricia Blevins.
In addition, the News Journal reports that state representative Melanie George Smith is backing her along with Middletown Mayor Ken Branner.
