State Funding for Hockessin Bike and Pedestrian Pathway

Representative Nick Manolakos (R-Hockessin), legis.delaware.gov

The town of Hockessin is getting $200-thousand from the state of Delaware for its $1 million Valley Road Pedestrian Pathway project.

Republican State Senator Nick Manolakos gathered today with four other state lawmakers who secured the money for the pedestrian and biking path.

Lawmakers gather in Hockessin to celebrate the first funding toward a new pedestrian and biking path in the community.

The Senator said the path was important because “it would connect a number of Hockessin communities to the walkway and allow them the ability to walk to downtown Hockessin.”
