There could be some snow in Delmarva’s future.

The National Weather Service says a cold front is moving into the Northeast area this weekend and could bring up to 3 inches in Delaware.

Further north it could be as high as 12 inches.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that forecasters say the chances for the white stuff is 50 percent.

The snow could come as early as Saturday night and last until Monday morning.

The temperatures are also expected to drop into the 40’s over the weekend.
