GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - Supporters of President Donald Trump gathered in a Georgetown park for a "support our president" rally.

The Wilmington News-Journal reports that the rally, organized by the Sussex County Republican Committee, was held on Saturday morning and attracted about 100 people.

The first speaker, Sussex County Councilman Rob Arlett, said, "We got the attention of the White House ... President Trump knows what's going on in the great state of Delaware because our elected officials forgot."

There was a three-person counter-rally across the street.

Trump lost Delaware in the election, but won both Sussex and Kent counties.
