Slick Streets from Snow Fall

Don Rush

The roads are slick and the weather is cold as Delmarvans begin to venture out this morning.

There’s only a slight chance of snow this afternoon.

Low temperatures have left some icy roads so motorists should be cautious.

But the Delaware Department of Transportation has had work crews out putting down salt to fight the freezing conditions.

At a Royal Farms in Salisbury motorists said the roads weren’t too bad as the snow came down yesterday:

Some of snow accumulation yesterday saw as much as 2 inches on the roads in Delaware while the Maryland Lower Shore picked up around 3 to 4 inches with some areas of Accomack County got as much as 5 inches.

The customers at the Royal Farms yesterday had mixed feelings about the recent snow storms.
