The second suspect in the shooting at Delaware State University has surrendered to the authorities.

25 year-old Michael Clark gave himself up at around 8:30 a.m. yesterday morning at the Dover Police Department headquarters.

25 year-old Marshawn Fortner was arrested on Tuesday in downtown Dover.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that court documents say Fortner told police that the two of them went to the DSU dorm in Dover to buy marijuana from a student.

He claims the student drew a gun and was shot in the chest as they struggled over the weapons.

The university is not releasing any information about the student whom police say was shot in the chest.

The paper reports that the unidentified student has not been charged by police.
