Salisbury University Opens New Baseball Stadium

Salisbury University has opened a $3.8 million baseball stadium across from Sea Gull Stadium.

It’s the latest athletic addition for President Janet Dudley-Eshbach who walked out onto the pitcher’s mound to throw out the first ball.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that over the years the university has added new facilities for football, lacrosse and field hockey.

In addition there is a new soccer arena and softball stadium.

The opening was supposed to take place on February 10th but was postponed because of bad weather.
