18-year old Jocori Scarborough was convicted yesterday on all five counts involving the alleged rape of a 15 year old student on the campus of Parkside High School earlier this year.

In addition to second-degree rape a Wicomico County jury convicted him of false imprisonment, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and threatening a student.

On Monday the victim, a student from Wicomico High School who took a class at Parkside High, testified that he forced her to have sex with him.

Scarborough’s attorney said his client had not denied that he and the victim had sex indicating that Scarborough claimed it was consensual.
