mug shot

21-year-old Daquan Dickerson has been convicted of 2nd degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Keonte Gaskins at the Waterside Apartments on Parsons Road in Salisbury.

His accomplices Joshua Perry and Gerald Savage Jr. have already pleaded guilty to 1st and 2nd degree murder among other charges.

WBOC reports that the incident occurred in May of last year when Dickerson confronted Gaskins about an earlier robbery that Gaskins was not a part of.

Dickerson has not been sentenced and also faces charges for another unrelated crime.
