Salisbury Daily Times Holds Vision Forum for City

Stop the Violence website

The Salisbury Daily Times held its first town hall forum last night where parents expressed concerns about keeping teenagers on the right track.

Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis one of the seven panelists spoke of providing interventions when parents found that their children were involved with drugs.

Wicomico High School senior Taylor Dumpson said he was concerned about teenagers repeating the bad behavior of their parents.

The town hall is part of the newspaper’s upcoming project entitled, ”Coming Together: What is Salisbury?”,  for which reporters are working on stories that will be published the week of March 23rd.

Around 50 people attended the nearly 90 minute forum at the gymnasium of Stoop The Violence a nonprofit groups dedicated to helping at-risk youths.
