Roadwork to Impact PRMC

Don Rush

Over the next few weeks work along business Route 13 is expected to have an impact on the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

The work runs from South Boulevard to Calvert Street and will include the replacement of pipes and making the sidewalks compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act..

Tanesha Hankerson with the Maryland State Highway Transportation Administration told the Salisbury Daily Times that the work will be done at night to limit the inconvenience to motorists.

The paper reports that the crossover street intersections will be closed for a couple of days while the pipe work is being done.

Meanwhile, the Daily Times reports that the roadway access to the Richard A. Henson Cancer Institute off of Route 13 will be closed permanently.
