Perdue is recalling around 21-hundred pounds of “Italian Style Organic Chicken Sausage”.
The fully cooked meat comes in 24 ounce packages and contain 8 links each.
WBOC reports that food safety official say there have been at least three complaints of blue plastic material in the meat.
But the television station says for the moment there has been no confirmation.
USDA says that the meat came from one of the company’s Georgia plants and then was shipped to Maryland and Connecticut.
If you bought one of these packages you are to file a complaint and obtain a refund.
The package code number is 64405 and is to be sold by June 25th of this year.
