Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was arrested over the weekend at a casino in Atlantic City after an argument with his fiancé turned physical.
Atlantic City police say that Rice and Janay Palmer were both arrested on simple assault charges and released on a a summons after the incident at the Revel Casino early Saturday.
Rice’s attorney says he hopes that the matter will turn out to be more of a misunderstanding after an investigation.
