SALISBURY, Md. (AP) - Heavy rainfall has caused streets to flood in low-lying parts of Ocean City and downtown Salisbury.

WBOC-TV  reports that floodwaters north Ocean City have started to recede, but that the resort city is expected to see more showers through the early afternoon.

Meanwhile, in Salisbury, Fitzwater Street near the Wicomico River is impassable due to flooding. Areas of Route 13 and side streets are also experiencing flooding. Motorists are advised use caution in those areas.

On Wednesday, heavy rains caused the roof of the Carriage House building downtown to collapse.
